Hey guys. I bought my 2020 Tundra Platinum a few months back and ever since, I've been hearing what sounds like metal clicking or ticking against itself from the driver's side B-pillar when I hit bumps in the road the right way. It's not crazy loud, but is very annoying. I found this thread of a guy describing a similar sound in a 4Runner.

    https://www.4runners.com/threads/b-pillar-metal-rattle-sound.32712/

I'm going to try what he did in his 4Runner, but curious if anyone has experienced this in their Tundra and what the fix was. Thanks!

Sounds ridiculous, but check the passenger headrest. My 2019 platinum was making a clicking sound in the same area for a while. Turns out it was just the locking mechanism in the headrest. Never know…

I have a double cab, but I had a similar noise coming from the metal buckles for the car seat restraints at the top of the rear seats rattling against the back of the cab. I just have to make sure they stay inside the plastic retainers.

After a little closer observation, it seems like this is coming from the ceiling between the sunroof and the window. I’m afraid the headliner will have to be removed to fix…going to see if dealer has any experience fixing this tomorrow.
