Hello, I was just wondering is there any difference in the JBL headunit vs the non JBL one? Does it provide more power or have different bass/treble settings? Not interested in any aftermarket parts, just want to know if there is a difference between the 2 factory head units.

What year model Tundra are you referring to?
    I can only reference the Gen 2.5, 2014 - 2021.

In some JBL systems, all speakers are powered by a separate OEM amp.
Non-JBL the dash speakers are powered from the HU, the door speakers from the OEM amp.
JBL, the fader is also controlled by the OEM amp, non-JBL the HU controls the fader.

As far as more power, I'd say no.
    Different bass/treble settings, again, no.
    I think both have a 3-band EQ.

You said you didn't care about aftermarket parts, but a non-JBL system is easier to upgrade than a JBL system.

I've learned over the last 28 of owning Toyotas, few think the JBL sounds better than a non-JBL.
Few feel the JBL 'sub' adds that much true improvement to the sound.

I wouldn't base a vehicle purchase on one having JBL and one not having JBL.
Although a Tundra that has a JBL system (some Limited, 1794, Platinum) will have more factory options than a non-JBL Tundra (usually SR, SR5, and some Limiteds)..

    Good luck...
