My mileage around town is 10 to 11 mpg. The truck is running perfect. I drive mellow and the mpg use to be 14 to 16. I took it to toyota and they checked the computer and everything was ok. The truck has 62k miles and is like new. Could winterized fuel be the culprit. Any ideas out there

Well, good news, bad news. Burn the remaining fuel and refill with premium. Check your brakes to ensure nothing is dragging. Check vacuum lines and intske filter, just in case a rodent has stuffed your airbox with stuff.

Nothing to lose if you add a fuel stabilizer and cleaner to remove moisture in the tank. I use Seafoan, and it does a good job. Just make sure that you use the right kind of Seafoam (read the label). I use it on my chainsaws, lawn tractor, and so on- when storing them for the winter. Now, where I live at (Alaska) alcohol-based fuels aren't sold at the pumps.

Run a can of Royal Purple Max Clean next time you plan on driving through at least half a tank.

I run 87 Et blend and still get 16-17 on the highway, 14-15 on the freeway.

It gave me an extra 2.5 MPG in my 2004 Denali after the first can. Also smoothed out my idle.

i used it in my old frontier a couple times and would get a 1mpg bump for a tank or two and then back to normal.

No problems at all. Even works great on 2 stroke lawn equipment. Check out the reviews on Amazon, etc. Walmart has the best price. Usually around $12.99. 1 can does 20 gallons. Pour in to the tank, then fill up so it mixes up thoroughly. Hopefully it will help out some. If you have a tank, you may need a little more than one can. Just don’t add too much
