Which seats fit the 1st Gen?

My 2004 AC 4x4's seat sucks. I replaced the seat foam, but it didn't get much better. Are there seats from another Toyota that might fit?

Yes, for that dilemma you can thank everyone who's posted new threads asking questions that already exist? Exactly why that's frowned upon on most internet forums

Seriously though, the info is pretty spread out. There's been a lot of chatter in the 1st Gen 'Lunch Table' thread. If it were me, I'd find seats I like, and try to transfer the OEM base to the new seat.

A lot of people have found if you just use something like Seatjackers on the front, the seats being 1"-2" higher makes a marked difference in comfort.

I didn't realize it's a question that dates back to 2008! I use the seat jackers on my Taco, but this Tundra seems to have back rest issues. My Sequoia is very comfortable. Sounds like it might just be a reupholster project.

No prob. Adjusting lumbar support doesn't help?

I find my stock seats uncomfortable as hell on long trips also. Although sometimes our 2020 Highlander is worse.

 

Yeah, the lumbar won't do it. I have a feeling that there was a rather large dude that owned this previously. The cushion was collapsed, before I replaced the foam and cover.
