Area between bumper and tailgate

Anyone have any suggestions on how to dress up the area between the rear bumper and the tailgate? I hate the look of the exposed welds. Kind of looks unfinished. Thanks…Sloan

 

Stick an LED bar in there if it bothers you that much.

I don't think most people notice. You could always paint it black so it blends in more with the bumper or shadow.

I did a tailgate lightbar but I did that to make my truck more visible. But I love having it. When this fails I'll be replacing with the 2 piece one linked above so I can still access my spare tire without removing the lightbar (currently I used velco so I can pull it and put it back as needed).

Hmmm I think I’ve got something for this….

The area between the truck nuts and the tailgate is unkempt... I can’t say I’ve ever given any thoughts to the TundraTaint™ before, but I guess if I wanted to dress that sucker up I’d make sure it was nice and clean and then maybe slap some trim on it. Maybe a piece of rubber or plastic trim would do the job.

Though, I have seen some people go the other direction and really bring some attention to it. You can light it up with LEDs that operate as brake lights.
