Just trying to make you realize what a big mistake you made with the pearl......paint lasting longer, yeah, right. Don't read too much into it bucky, just saw a thread about white trucks and posted...I'm too old to know what "shade" is. If you are so easily offended you might want to stay off the internet.

You sound emotional. Had to check your pfp to see if you were a woman.

Yea, my WRX/ STI is CWP, or crystal white pearl. The Wind Chill Pearl is very nice, and so is the ICE Cap.

I guess it is preference, but I love the way the Wind Chill Pearl looks matte in the evenings and later sunsets. It looks amazing in the sun and it is an optional paint costing us who have it roughly 500-700 dollars more. The only thing that sucks about it is if you need paint work then the whole world will be able to tell where it was blended in. You would need to repaint the whole truck.

Just picked up a 2025 Platinum in WCP. The smoked chrome mustache & grille bothered me, so I replaced it. Pretty sweet truck.

In hindsight I would’ve definitely replaced the chin too. I still could, but man I don’t really want to take it all apart again lol… If it were as simple as popping that piece out and slamming a color-matched piece in its place, I’d do it in 2 seconds. Maybe there is a way that I’m unfamiliar with. If so, do tell…

Interesting. I took the fog light bezel off during the new grill/mustache installation and noticed that there’s a lip on the sides that sits behind the bottom mustache pieces. Not sure how you can get it off with it wedged in behind those pieces. I’ll look into it.

I have to say, the color matched fog lamp bezel completes the look very nicely!! IMG_1497.jpg

It’s actually pretty well known that the single stage white or “ice cap” paint has been the least durable paint for Toyota and has had the most problems.

    None at this point.
    Question.
What years will the TRD lift go on?
I have a 2016 TRD thats looks like it just rolled off the dealer showroom floor.
Dont have any plans of installing an aftermarket lift but would be okay with one that Toyota endorses.

No shit,I would presume that 80% towers are for the equipment?
Always wanted to see inside and working of a facility like that.

Happy to do my part. It's not so much equipment, for heat exchangers to cool certain areas of the process. Definitely can be boring, exciting and dangerous all in the same day. We like the boring ones the best. And I'd be lying if I didn't admit to some shenanigan's every once in a while.

This was a young engineers bike we were playing hide and seek with during an planned outage.
    IMG_20160526_052018_01.jpg

It's definitely a treat to see the process!

Initially I was never a fan of white trucks. Mentally I couldn’t disassociate that color from the perception that 80% of work trucks are white. But this WCP is definitely growing on me. If I lived in a southern state, I’d get one.

How are the tires working out? I'm looking at these but there are very few reviews out there.
