That sounds like some bad/state insurance. I've never heard of 5k deductible for passenger vehicle. I logged on to mine just to see I can only go $250-$2000 deductible. It was nice of you but I would have gone through insurance.

You don't pay a deductible to fix the other person's car when it's your fault..

The deductible is what you pay to fix your own vehicle when it's your fault.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
    Finally
De-chromed my trim without paying a boat load of money.

A local company wrapped my window trim and door handles in 3M gloss wrap for $250 and I switched out the tailgate handle to gloss black OEM for $39.67

I also installed AVS low profile vent shades.

I heard $5k and I just stared at him. He is in his thirties and to make a decision that poor is beyond me. At that point why even have insurance, but it’s done and an expensive lesson for me as I stare at my truck 5 beers deep. Definitely not being this nice to a stranger probably ever.

I’m pretty sure I got played but I honestly don’t know why I believed him in the moment. I definitely don’t have enough life experience at 24 to judge people like that, but I’m starting to learn lol. I’m hopeful that after some cleaning and buffing I can look at my truck again and the dents will probably have to stay as a reminder to not be so stupid.

Uptick of catalytic converters being snatched around town and my neighbors were cut about a week ago. Installed the Cali Raised Catalytic Converter Shields today, easy peasy and the price was good. Gives me a little piece of mind and the security cam is going up tomorrow.

That looks great, but I'm curious why you didn't dechrome the chrome panels on the back bumper?

Also, is the wrap vinyl or PPE like that used on clear bra on the front?

Broke out the harbor freight plastic welder, a drill, and some zip ties for a lil front bumper repair:

It’s been hangin on by one bracket since I bought it. Hadn’t found the desire to fix it until today since it wasn’t a big deal. One day I’ll rip it off and buy a nice front bumper. Today is not that day

Nothing more permanent than a temporary solution. ;)
j/k, looks solid and I've done plenty of those kinds of fixes.

Installed dump tip from NY Top, a TRD skid plate and AFE tow hooks. Very happy with the outcome.

Sunshine for the heat, 6 lbs fishing line, nail polish remover on a micro fiber towel to clean off the adhesive and then went over it with chemical guys butter wax, also on a micro fiber towel (which really cleaned it up!!).

Don't mean to intrude, but the pro vehicle wrappers that I know swear by fishing line. Then again they do a lot of these so I guess whatever is quickest and least intrusive.

It’s a 3M vinyl wrap in gloss black. The installer said it is durable enough to be installed on the door handles.

I don’t mind the brushed nickel on the front and rear. It’s not chrome like some models have.
I attached a pic of what it looked like before.
