No, I just ran down near the steering column and under along the frame and then up over the fender cover. I did not remove the fender cover since there were too many plastic clips to break and it was easy enough to push it over and out the back.

Very nice! I've been thinking about installing an airhorn just to get some lovely drivers' attention. Again, great job.

Was removing the taillight just necessary for getting a wrench in to snug up the quickdraw mount and switch brackets? Are you able to slide the ARB compressor into place just by removing the rear driver side tire?

This is an awesome idea and I'm currently amassing the parts to replicate with an ARB dual compressor I pulled off of an LX470 I recently sold.

I removed the taillight just to make accessing the top bolt/nut and fitting the coupling bracket easier.

I did not remove the wheels. There's plenty of open space to get the compressor up there, but then you just need arms about 1.5 times normal length to get to the top.

Once everything is installed and done, you'll be able to stretch to reach the sintered screens for when you remember to clean them ;-)

Enjoy and best of luck on the install.

Scary part is over! All the holes are drilled and cut. Mounted everything up to test fit and looks good.

running power wires to battery is no issue, but did you have a clever way to tap into ignition for the switch and maybe illumination somewhere? Don’t really wanna run all the way to fuse box if I don’t have to. Thanks so much for the idea!!!

So I ran power to the engine bay and then back, so I tapped into the fuse box. Not sure of other options, especially with CAN bus.
