    Flux capacitor!
Buffalo Trace had to close their distribution from all the flooding in the area.

Maybe they’ll start a new bourbon called “straight from the river”.

It’s hard to believe how the distillery looks now compared to when I visited back in 2023.

You can see the river to on the far left of the aerial photo. I can only imagine the damage this has caused to their inventory and memorabilia items.

it is sad, however the more I look at that photo, the more I think it is fake. I mean all the labels are facing up and toward the camera... Really?

Yeah - it's hard to find around here but I agree, it's a top 5 for me. Really, really good pour. We slowly drank about 1/3 of the bottle last night..

I bought a bottle of the Peerless small batch several years ago and it was harsh and undrinkable. Even after letting it open up a bit nothing changed, so I ended up giving it away. Maybe I will try it again.

I'm a straight up Whiskey drinker.
Drank a lot of Crown and Coke in my younger days and as the years went by I found myself using less and less Coke.
In the End I said to Hell with it and started drinking it straight up on the rocks.

So I go into my local store yesterday and right at the front of the store they have the a stacked display of Peerless rye single barrel as well Peerless single barrel bourbon. I asked the manager about dbl oaked and he says he's never seen one. Wish I would've grabbed a pic but i had left my phone in the truck.
