I'm looking into a 2005 Tundra DC. I have combed through the carfax/listing, and here are some thing I've gathered:

    - 150K miles, $13K
    - unknown if/when timing belt was last done
    - failed safety inspection due to failed rack and pinion (now replaced)
    - Location owned: Connecticut 2005-2014 (first 93K miles), Florida (2014-2024), Minnesota for about 1 year
    - 3 owners- first of which was for 14 years and was listed under 'Commercial'

I've attached a few videos/photos I have. Wondering if anyone sees any red flags/cause for concern.

    Radiator is old as fuck.

Timing belt lack of maintenance is a problem.

Frame has clearly been coated a few times, so no clue what's under thatbut DC isn't in the frame recall, so the previous owners must have been super anal retentive?

This ripple in the frame I boxed and arrowed is concerning, and and the area I circled is a not-unusual problem spot, that one looks a little crusty. There's enough here that I'd want to check it out in person before committing, both between the stuff in the pics, the fact it spent so many years in problem areas, and the fact it's been coated with something. And it's also strange that boxed/rippled area is rusty when the rest of the frame isn't. Do you have any proof it was never in an accident? It's possible that's jackstand/shop lift induced vs. frame ripple.

I appreciate you taking the time to comb through the video. I noticed that warped portion of the frame as well.
There was a right rear-end collision in 2019 reported as “minor damage.” Evidently the air bags didn’t deploy.

Well, that's the right side of the truck, so I guess the ripple makes sense. I'd pass.

Good eye Shifty. That had to be a hard smack to buckle the frame there. And its def had the dealer dressings. Agree w pass on buckled frame alone. I would think that would have been salvage title. Over priced for frame damage.
