Who here is a carpenter or cabinet installer by trade who can provide some advice? Maybe you've been in this situation yourself and figured it out.

Having the kitchen remodeled with ceiling height shaker style cabinets. The ceiling is wavey as "you know what". We have a gap at the top of the cabinet and the ceiling and the wave in the ceiling causes the gap to not be consistant. And the tops of some of the doors, gently rub the ceiling. (Maybe the doors havent been adjusted down yet)

Whatever we do to one cabinet, we want to do to all, so it doesnt look wonky !

Contractor says nothing can be done, he thinks scribe molding might work, but the gaps arent consistant. When i mention lowering the cabinets a smidge and using some cove mold or crown mold to cover the gap, he says we need to maintain the 18/24 inch space above the counter top for the, not yet installed back splash

And the "BOOB" light is gone already - LOL

Looking for advice or options that i havent thought of...
