Toyota Tundra 2009

Looking for an engine or possible change engine from V6 to an 8 cylinder, if possible, with very little changes, and least expensive.

I have a Tundra 2009 1GR V6. The cylinder heads and block are damage, eat up and rotten with holes.
The engines are extremely expensive and am looking for a way reduce the cost.

The V8 is less expensive than the V6 1GR but not familiar with them so I would like to hear from you what would be the best idea to get this truck back on the road with a lesser cost.

Hope to hear you with does and don'ts.
