In an F-150 rental while getting hail fixed on my Tundra

Toyota has spoiled me.

It is an F-150.

The most ANNOYING thing is having to unlock the doors with the fob and insert a key. I'm so used to the touch to unlock and push the button to start. This is a major deal for me. I am spoiled.

My truck got pummeled in a hail storm a few months ago. I'm going to be stuck in this thing for about a week. $6,500 in damage so far. The shop is going to go back for mo money.

They said it would take 5 days then I am putting it in the shop to get to get a Wireless Air with tank and some bags. Eventually I want to ad some air horns. Probably going to get it waxed after that.

The F-150 is an awkward truck. It has a few features. They have a big screen with Android Auto so that is good to have in a rental.

I can say I love the mileage. It had 3/4 tank of gas and reported it had 511 miles to empty. Average mileage is 20.2mpg. I wish I could get near that. I get 15's to 16's.

 

OMG. I opened the door when it was in gear. The son of a bitch shifted the gear lever into park.

Something for Toyota to take note of is when you turn the steering wheel, you get a side vanity light shining to whichever way you are turning. When I turned into my driveway last night, my driveway was illuminated before I turned in.
