    Yup.

Now, if the requirement for stop/start tech is made more permanent, then simply not installing it might offer enough savings in materials that they'd drop it. IDK what all is involved with the system beyond coding to control the behavior, and then the button to turn it off. If it's not labor intensive to stop including it and there is a material savings then I could see them dropping it.

If the requirements removal is looking to only be temporary, then they'd likely leave it in to avoid the headache when the requirement is added back in.

My '25 doesn't require any stupid shit. When I want to take off, i just give it a little gas and away I go. Pretty easy, IMO.
    To each their own, though.

The cable I got just acts like I had pushed the off button on Stop/Start (and you can actually push the button to turn it *on* if you want). No dash lights.

I personally like start stop in the toyota because i control it and ac stays at full blast. Push down to activate. My stupid honda would activate and kill the ac in 100 degree weather then 10 secs later reactivate for “climate control” -pos
