WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR 3RD GEN TUNDRA TODAY?

Interested to hear your opinions on the Terra Grappler G3s after some miles.

 

I've had this done for a while but finally wanted to show it off since I've proved the design. I've added a wireless charger to my center console area. I found out that I just gathered junk in that cavity where I put this so I don't miss having that. It's all completely removable too going along my theme of mods. Here's my writeup if anyone is interested.

Kid was hurting...I'm ok.

Ripped off the BD bumper lightbar, fogs and trd tow hooks. Passenger side turbo radiator is leaking. Bags didn't deploy. Hope its not totalled because of frame damage from the tow hooks getting ripped off

 

Bummer but glad no one was seriously hurt.

Got the grille lights put in. Really like the unique look. Super easy install.

If it was metal it would be gone in Baltimore. More likely the whole truck would just disappear though.

 

I like your style. The Toyota emblem looks so much better then the word Toyota.

 

How do you like the G3's? I'm planning to get 275/65/20's in June.

 

Love them, great in the rain, quiet for an AT, 70k warranty! Can't be beat. I did a lot of research and so far, so good.

Also, I had KO3's in the size you are getting and loved them too. I came by the Pro wheels with a deal I couldn't pass up, otherwise I'd still be rocking the 20s.

 

That's partly why I chose the G3's, good rain for a Terra Grappler. I have Cooper AT3 4S in 275/60/20 now, replaced the origionals with those. The 4S are great on most pavement and even in the rain. But I didn't expect them to be as bad as they are off road. The other day wife and I were on a 2 track in Idaho when the tire ruts started getting deep. I tried to "climb" out of the ruts but the 4S couldn't do it in part because they are quite worn and there are no decent biting edges on the outer edge of the tires. So I'm really looking forward to not only new tires but also some that are better off road.

How would you compare the KO3 to the G3's ?

 

Turned off fog lights. Actually been a couple of months since I turned them off. Had them one since I got the Tundra but one night I didn't care for the look at night with them on and the offroad amber lights.
Now I see other Tundra with them on and don't like the look. I kinda wish they would have put those fog lights in the bumper.

First Mod, Bullletpoint accessory mount, I'm still playing with layout, very impressed with the quality of this product.

Attached my Ram mount as it was on my Tacoma and very used to it, I do say the bullet point looks much better.

 

Any update on the situation?

 

Finally got around to ordering my tonneau cover a few days ago. Got the Truxedo Sentry CT Hard Roll-Up and Realtruck, amazingly, had it delivered in less than 24 hours. Seems a little more sturdy than the Bakflip I had on my Tacoma, and I love the matte black canvas over the vinyl.

 

dashcam is saying "Start Emergency feel (file)"

 

Truck is at the shop, gotta go during my lunch and sign some docs. Waiting on police report but I believe they took responsibility at the scene...what they tell their insurance is another thing though.
