Just wanted to share a custom fridge mount I built for the rear seat area of my Tundra Double Cab. It holds my Iceco APL35 perfectly with room to spare, and the front passenger seat still fully reclines.

This project started with one main goal: keep it clean and reversible.

    - No cutting, drilling, or permanent mods.

    - I used only factory mounting points from the original seat.

I’ve always liked the @goosegear seat delete kits, but they don’t sell just the 40% section — you have to buy the 60% side first. I still wanted to retain two rear seats so I could carry passengers or my two dogs when camping, so Goose Gear wasn’t a viable option.

With this setup, I can run the fridge full-time, still seat two rear passengers, or fold that side down for the dogs — super flexible without giving up space or usability.

    Mounting breakdown:

    - The rear panel is bolted to the factory car seat tether point (behind the headrest).

    - The platform base mounts directly to the OEM seat brackets — I removed the rubber pads and used 5/16” bolts in the factory holes.

    - Everything is completely reversible — no damage or permanent changes.

    - I carpeted the wood using sub box carpet for a clean, OEM-like finish.

    - I added a metal MOLLE panel (Amazon special), using 1/2” spacers to offset it from the rear panel for easy gear mounting.

Thats a damn clean build. I've considered something similar if I ever go back to a plain camper shell instead of my OVRLND.

Do you have a specific link to that molle panel? Been wanting to add one behind the seats since doing the "fold down" mod.

    Solid work!

I have a bed setup in my camper shell, which is why I needed the fridge mounted up front for easier access. Here’s a link to the panel I used—it’s originally designed for the back seat of a Ford F-150, but it’s a solid, well-built metal MOLLE panel. It is a bit pricey, so I’ll also include a similar, more budget-friendly option.

I have a camper on my truck too, and it's nice to have the fridge in the cab because it's just noisy. I like what you did. I wish the 60/40 setup is in reverse because that's where my son sits. I may take out the 60 side though, because it's rare that I have someone else other than him in the back. That would make so much room back there.

Neither of my dipshit dogs would chill in the back though. The frenchie(wife's dog) rides in her lap mostly, or her own carseat/bed, and my Springer Spaniel rests with her head on the center console or watches out the window the entire ride.

One of mine uses it all the time, the other is too nosy looking out the window the whole time .

Did you keep the jack and tool pouch in the same spot? Still have access to it or no?

Yes there’s still access to the old jack and tool. I didn’t want to have to cut out the old jack mount because it’s riveted into the floor of the truck so I just left it all.

Why does that rear seat compartment remind me of a cargo plane! Such a good boah in the rear seat! Mine sleeps in the same bed! Looks great!
