I've never experienced that or heard of it happening. They pretty much act like in the picture of my grandson holding it.
They only wanted it relocated because of the new, unplanned chicks. The hen that disappeared did so about two days before they dispatched their last rooster. Apparently is was a day or so late.

Here’s a fun way to wake up.
This evening at approximately 12:15 am, my son comes running down stairs to my bedroom “daddoo there’s a fire in the kitchen.” Obviously I’m sleeping and confused so I calmly walk up upstairs and sure as shit the fuckin toaster is on fire. I grabbed the goddamn thing and put it in the kitchen sink. Then grab my fire extinguisher and slay the flames. My investigation revealed that even though if I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times, “don’t stack shit on the toaster” my wife stacked a bunch of shit on the toaster tonight. Here’s where it gets crazy. We went to bed at 8:45. How did the thing get turned on? Also why didn’t my smoke detectors go off? They’re all under a year old with new batteries.

Hopefully your wife now equates "don't stack shit on the toaster" with "don't stack shit on the toaster or I could burn the house down and take us all with it."
Definitely get those smoke detectors working better.
    Glad all are well.

The feature only bothers my wife because she's incapable of keeping her foot on the brake all the way through a red light. But the Pilot does have a button to shut it off, which is nice.

Order what you want (within certain specs)... the FP700 package is a dealer installed add-on, so the world is your oyster :D
I think that 2door 2wd XL model weighs in at only 4300lbs or so... which makes it even quicker than adding boost to our 6500lbs pigs :burnrubber:

I’m holding steady on this tundra

    it’s perfection right now

it does exactly what I need- without a car note!

But a white lariat supercrew fp700 would be nice

    an easy -750hp scooter

    maybe in 2 years

And recently, I’ve been wondering why the tundra sounds so good.

    well

when I was under it, tightening the traction bars, I noticed both of my exhaust gaskets are blown out

the ones on the tailpipe side

and Toyota is sold out of them

And if you know the smoke woke him up where were you this morning at approximately 12:30am!?:monocle:

Today’s installment of WTF is Wrong with People!?

Just went down to the cafeteria to get a cup of coffee. A coworker was just finishing putting some oatmeal into a bowl and got some on his fingers. The fucker licks his fingers and then immediately grabs the hot water dispenser at the coffee maker with the same finger to add some water to the think, skanky oatmeal.

    I hate people

Leaving work early today, son's graduation at the U of A. So not getting much done before I leave, not just because of the short hours but because all I've done so far are mandatory "check in" meetings. :frusty:

I was thinking of giving away a guided trip to maybe drum up some binniss. I’m saving for a Gofast camper or a Mako boat… spine injury may have put an expiration date on my ability to row the river. Wondering how many more elk seasons I’ve got too.

i’m more curious as to what brand of oatmeal the coworker is eating. I mean if it’s that finger licken good that he doesn’t want any to go to waste, then that’s the oatmeal i want to eat as well

The lowest cost, worst available kind. Looks like it’s bonded with Elmer’s glue and tastes about the same. You have to 1:1 ratio it with fruit and brown sugar to squelch the gag reflex.

    Reminded me of a story...

I got invited to a party - a friend of a friend. All adults, well into our 40s. The guy did it up right - good food, good drinks. Quite a bit of trouble. He had a 'margarita bar' set up with a machine for frozen, or a pitcher if you wanted to make yours on the rocks. Had salt for the glass rims, and a pile of limes (I use a lime wedge to glue the salt down - not water). He had the lid to the little salt container sitting there; but had gotten busy and didn't put water or lime juice in it.

Maybe one or two people had made their margs before one of this friend of a friend's other friends picked up her glass, looked at the entire table for some water, decided 'wtf', looked back at everyone, shrugged and said 'oh well' knowing full well it was out of bounds, licked the rim of her glass and dipped it in the salt.

Strangely nobody else wanted a margarita...
