Airbox with K&N Filter, 2" lift on 33's, Alpine iLX-F309 head unit, Pull out bed tool boxes, brown with black trim, rims, etc, black leather interior, matching topper. Muffler delete (too loud..) 62k miles!!!
Did the brakes this weekend. As expected everything was rusted together. The wheel spacers were seized on to the rotor which forces me to fabricated a slide hammer. The locating pins for the brake pads were rusted solid. Ended up cutting them in have, grinding off the heads and using a punch to drive them through. Wire brushed everything down, Painted the calipers and backing plates. Coated everything with a thin layer of red grease to keep it from seizing again and bolted it back together. Bedded them in and should be good to go now. I went with Bendix Fleet Metlok rotors. They were in the budget and seem to have good reviews. Seems like I have some uneven wear on the pads. The inside pads were worn more than the outside pads. I will keep an eye on this and a caliper swap may be in my future.

Side Note: Also had to deal with bulging lug nut covers. Spent about 30 minutes removing the stainless cover on all 10 lugs I had off for the front wheels. I painted them black to match the wheels and let them sun bake while I did the brake job. They seem to be holding up well. If you are in a snow prone area I would either swap the lugs out or get ahead of them. I didn't have any issues removing them other than being stuck in the socket and having to smack them on a rock or piece of metal to remove but it could have been a lot worse.

Yep, did my brakes not long ago and my lug nuts were apparently put on there by a gorilla. Had to use an impact to take them off. Didn't have a breaker bar or lug nut 4 way. I have aftermarket rims so the stock lug wrench didn't fit the nuts either.

Installed mine a few weeks ago, can definitely hear the tone change when the VVTI adjusts the cams. Still waiting on the MPG increase that was rumored to happen

No regrets here! Not obnoxious, just a nice tone. Haven’t put the resonator on yet, but if it lowers the drone even more than it has already, should be awesome.

Had some uneven wear on my front tires so I replaced them and got an alignment. Probably the last KO2's I'll ever buy.

Looks great! I finally decided to order a grill/ surround and hood bulge to de-chrome. And… there is a national back order with 147 orders ahead of me.

My reference to the last set I'll ever buy is because the KO2's aren't being made anymore and have been replaced with the new KO3's. I personally really like them, but understand others do not.

I hear ya! I had challenges myself when I owned them...but it was for a different 4x4 in a different era...I now only use Cooper ST MAXX tires on all of my stuff...I'm not certain how much longer they're to be made though...

I had a set of KO3'S and after some wear they were absolutely trash.Im on Toyo Open Country AT III'S now and they are far superior IMHO

all this tire talk has me confirming my next set I plan to get by EOM. Leaning towards Falken Rubitrek's. If not those, maybe the Wildpeak AT4. the current Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT are showing a lot of dry rot, cracks on blocks, in grooves, and on sidewall. Not feeling good about that at all.

Apparently the Rubitrek's are a sleeper, very similar to the Wildpeaks, but designed to be slightly more highway/road friendly.

The AT3 Wildpeaks were good to me. Almost 90,000 miles and one intermediate alignment around 50,000. Hoping the new AT4’s will do as good.
