Just prior to this range session I also finally got around to installing the the Accuracy International butt stock hinge to turn it into a folder. I had the entire rifle apart. Then put it back together again after carefully applying Vibratite VC3 or Loctite to all fasteners that aren’t intended to be used regularly like the barrel lock ring screw, or the stock adjustment screws.

The rifle and optic required no sight adjustments whatsoever to shoot the pictured groups after total disassembly and reassembly.

How do you like the Garmin? I've been using a LabRadar for a long time but it's very bulky & sometimes finicky. The size of the Garmin is very tempting.

So far I like it really well. Perfect alignment isn’t critical to picking up shots. I’ve used it on the included tripod, and an Area 419 ARCA mount that puts it in perfect alignment with the rifle.

The Garmin app is decent enough.

The size is very attractive, easily fits in a range bag.

My father gave me a hell of a present today; a converted Saiga AK with 15 mags and nearly 3k rounds of ammo. He said he never shot it and had no plans to use it and asked if I wanted it. Holy crap....

My kids are licking their chops thinking I'm going to do that. All I hear is "you're not going to use them".

Got this 1991 West German P226 DAO on GB this week.

Always wanted a factory DAO P226, not sure why.
With my 1988 DA/SA P226 safe queen, I always shot better with the first DA shot.
Maybe I'm just too used to my Glocks and a consistent trigger pull.

I've owned a few DAK Sig pistols, converted them back and forth from DAK to DA/SA and back to DAK.
Although I ended up selling them and only keeping my West German Sigs.

I'll shoot and use this one for HD, the other stays in the safe to be handed down to the kids.
I'll buy a Matrix DA/SA kit in case they want to convert it.
Hell, I might even convert it.
Parts Kit to Convert DAO to DA/SA – Matrix Precision Arms

Made in 1991, night sights are dead, may send the slide to Sig for Siglight sights.
Funny, I just sold my Sig sight pusher I owned for 30 years..

Original box, manual, but no test target..:(
    2 15-round Sig mags, but I'll run 18-round Mec-Gar mags..
