I also ordered some nice neoprene seat covers. So they should be here in a little while.

That S&B is definitely the prettiest intake I’ve seen for our trucks.

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
I just don’t like the fact that the panels don’t just zip in, providing versatility.

For all those who have installed either the S&B or Stillen intakes, I haven't seen yet (unless I've overlooked) any installed with a vertical on-board air compressor mount (like SDHQ makes) and air compressor behind them. Is that because there's no room behind the S&B/Stillen intakes for a mount and compressor (i.e. these are bigger than the factory air boxes)? Or again, I may have overlooked, because I'm old like that:rofl:

I have the dual arb vertical mount from SDHQ, but am not running the stillen or s&b intake. Based on those two pictures I don’t think there is enough room due to the larger intake box. I’m running the Magnuson airbox which has a slightly bigger lid than my oem lid and the compressor barely fits. I can’t image it working with the other intakes, but I could be wrong. Here’s how close mine sits to the airbox.

Didn’t like the chrome bolts on my tyger fender flares. Removed them and replaced with black hardware and installed PPF on the paint. Then cerakoted the flares

Yes, I have it too, was thinking about a Stillen or S&B box, but I agree, doesn’t look like a lot of room for both. My box is close to the compressor as well, even after I did the remote coupler.

Installed pop and lock for the tailgate. No pictures, nothing to see that's exciting.

And cleaned hard water spots from the windows. Using chemical guys heavy duty water spot remover. It worked decent, had to apply it twice and scrap it with a razor. Bought the truck with hard water already.. no fun.

It's so much better now though.

Found a couple great deals on "Offer Up" and decided to upgrade my suspension and wheels. I installed everything last weekend, goal was to go the opposite direction from the previous street-ish look to this. IMO a proper 4x4 set up now. She should be pretty capable and dirt worthy now. :) This is my first mod that I've done to the truck since i picked it up in January (bought it used).

Yaa maybe a bit overkill but I just couldn't pass up the deal I made, and I couldn't be happier with the way the truck rides and drives now. I previously owned a 2006 Tundra double cab and installed the Fox factory series coil overs-non resevoir and wow what a difference in ride quality. These Elite series Fox's are the Jam! We will be hitting the dirt at the end of this month on a camping trip so I'll have to report back with how she feels out on the trails.

    All good,

5w30 does just fine in this climate. Even in the bitter cold (…that we get in the region). I don’t think you will have any issues on the Island. And from my basic research it seems that Pennzoil Platinum is on the lighter side of a 5w30…take that with a grain of salt obviously. I have also used Mobil 1EP with the same results.

I haven’t noticed any loss in MPG’s FYI, but the Toyota “tick” is definitely quieter. I have never owned a Toyota truck (3-3.4’s L and 2-4.0’s L) that didn’t have that tick.
