Pretty dead over here tonight, especially for a Friday. Slackers! :boink:

Still in the process of my Gummy experiment, but these are my favorite so far of the 6 or so I've tried. Great relaxation after a stressful workday, and some really solid sleep which I usually struggle to achieve. Added bonus of some really crazy fucking dreams. 5 stars, would recommend. ;)

My wife tried some chocolate ones for sleep. They really help her get some rest. The snoring they can induce really cuts down on my rest however.

I was skeptical that these would help me relax/sleep but I'm happy I was wrong. Also, happy that your wife finds it helpful as well. :)

Fukdat. I replied to his meeting invite and reminded him it’s Mother’s Day and nothing on the agenda is important. Asked what’s wrong with waiting until Monday night.

I deleted the part where I said he’d better know WTF he’s talking about if he’s talking my commodities. The dude is the nicest guy, but pretty sure he sits down to put on his shoes in the morning and has to do the “L” with both hands trick to align his mental compass.

I haven’t looked at my phone since. And won’t until Monday. Might call him at 6:30 am when it’s convenient for me to ask WTF did he tell the customer.

RANT - Why is it difficult to get good yard care help? I have neglected some yard stuff including sprinklers since Covid. I paid $1000 to get my sprinklers repaired and working = paid hourly rates to get everything done that needed to be done. But they were in a hurry and they still only did half the work. If a sprinkler head is six inches below the grass then you should raise the head - but they did not. If you want something done with the right amount of effort then you have to do it yourself. At least when you mess up you know how you messed up. But I do not have time to do it all - that is why I was paying them to do it.

In the past, I was never really one to leave reviews (good or bad)... If your service sucked, I'd either pay you accordingly or it would be the last time you heard from me. Problem is we (our system) has trained people how to be successfully lazy in business yet still find a way to makes ends meet.

With that being said, the couple of times we've lit up a business or a contractor in a review we actually got some form of resolution. It started w/the wife posting a couple of reviews from some shitty vet service we got a few years ago. Almost immediately, we were contacted, apologized to, and various offers were made to make things right. Since then, we've had similar results w/a couple of really shitty business transactions.

I'm not sure why people care so much about what the internet world thinks (but seriously though click the 'like' button on this post please), but apparently that is the attention getter for a lot of people these days. They cringe at that thought of having something negative said about them online :notsure:

Moral of the story, put 'em on blast :D

...and don't forget to click 'like' (you know the bottom right corner of this post) :cookiemonster:

I can only speak for myself. This thread is a place where I can hang out and have some lighthearted conversations with some great folks I will likely never meet in real life unless I go to something like Tundras to Sedona.

Anyone who adds to that fun lighthearted conversation will get a like from me. I don't even have to agree with what you are saying, as long as it isn't mean spirited and nasty, it's welcome in my book.

More and more the places where people congregate on the internet seem to have devolved into these mean spirited hateful town squares where people say and wish the worst things imaginable on each other.

This place is different and that's why I genuinely appreciate it and am happy to be a part of it.

Here, especially in this particular thread, we are all friends wishing for peace, prosperity and the best life has to offer for each other.

Yeah.. placement of a nose ring makes all the difference. I don't mind the typical small silver ring off to the side

    yeah.

Even my wife commented on how cute the girl was, yet.....the nose ring ruined it.

it's compoundingly perplexing for it to be in Texas....how soon we forget.

    ponder this....

who, going back millennia, decorated their nose?

    then it disappeared.

    now it's back because why?

Eeew. I don't remember where I heard it, but somebody called septum piercings "the mark of the beast" and it stuck in my head.

Now, if I worked or otherwise associated with a woman who had one, she could eventually overcome that first impression. It's a warning sign just like certain hairdos that women tend to get at a certain degree of crazy.

First of all... why no pics???

Secondly, you clearly missed the point of the nose ring... It has nothing to do w/appeasing your visual preferences. It's about control and the surrendering of said control to someone she trusts.

Instead of seeing it as something that is detrimental to her appearance, you really need to explore the physicalities of what she is offering...

The ring is simply a tethering point to attach whatever device you choose to 'manipulate' her with to her body... :D

Now, crank your garage stereo and conjure some blissful images of guiding that young lady through this stage of her life, and then report back!!!!

Whatever this forum told me to do

historically - if we stay on this continent...

you would have to go back to Native indians, or Aztec/Myan civilization to see face garb.

then...it went way. for 1000's of years

    why? dunno

now, in the last few decades it back.

    why, dunno.

    but I have a hypothesis.

    Exceptionalism of no-exceptional folks.

they don't want to earn it.

they want to color their hair, or be some other sex, or pierce the face.

thinkin' this will make them exceptional.

    it doesn't

    hard work does.

An ear piercing is okay, but I've not seen a woman with just one in ages. They all have 15 holes and hang everything but the kitchen sink off them.
