Hello fellow members, are there any meets coming soon locally in san diego?

 

Welcome to the forum! I see this is your first post, so I know you joined to ask this question, and would like to see you get what you're looking for!!

We've been pretty horrible about local meets for a while now, just because the really active core group suddenly entered the kid-busy stages of life all at the same time. If you want to suggest a time and place, probably a bunch of us would come out to play though!

When this thread was really active, it's because a core group of us that joined the forum about the same time, started getting together about once a quarter to hang out and take newcomers off-road on routes that wouldn't scratch the paint on trucks not yet paid off. *We passed the torch of leadership of each meet-up* from person to person however, and it's a great model to ensure everything doesn't fall on one or two people, or fall apart if a core group levels up or enters busier stages of life and can't play as often, as happened here. I've been thinking I may offer up again to lead newcomers off-road as a meet-up, but probably late September when the weather cools.

If you know a large parking lot or beach area and want to suggest a meet-up date/ time, I think you'll get some interest. A majority of active SoCal members are based in Riverside Co., but there are plenty in San Diego and Orange Co. as well.

ATTENTION other SoCal Shenanigans OG homies and friends. If one of you agrees it's past time we revive this thread and meet up with other members, feel encouraged to suggest summer dates/times/locations. Right now I'm working Saturdays so I am definitely not your Huckleberry. My schedule should free up about September though, so if anyone brings a jump starter (event), I can promise not to leave you hanging.

 

You knowwwwww the monthly OC Yota Meet is coming down to Fiesta Island next month…

was In Dove Springs/Mojave for Memorial day and it's starting to get hot. I think we about at the end of Desert season right now. Night runs were nice though.

Mikey, here you go! I know Nick and a couple other really good Tundra guys that check in at these sometimes. It's a lot of Tacos, but every Toyota enthusiast is welcome. It'd be a great jumping off point to meet locals, check out trucks and mods, and learn how to get notified about other meet-ups:
