    I have a 2017 Tundra CM SR5

about a month ago I noticed a hyper flash. No big deal, so I went through the normal checking and changing of the signal bulbs. Then it all got weird. Since then I have removed any LED bulb, socket, fixture and resistor and put everything having to do with my lights back to stock.

As of this moment, without my headlights on, when I activate a turn signal it sounds right, but the front turn signals alternate, the side markers alternate with their corresponding turn signals. The rear turn signal works fine, but the license plate ind bulbs blink alternately. When I turn the headlights on, the front turn signals no longer work and the rear hyper flash. This is completely throwing me off. The front marker lights do not
blink but the license plate bulbs do blink, while the headlights are on.

Another thing to take into consideration is consideration is that when I start my truck, with the headlights off, the side markers, rear running lights and License plate lights illuminate, but they are dim. As in they are getting power for some reason, bit not the correct mount of power. Also, both filaments of the front signal bulbs are lit all of the time.

I have had this truck for 5 years and this all of the sudden started to happen about a month back. When I got it, I installed after market tail lights and 2019 oem headlight fixtures. Then changed lol bulbs to LED and that worked fine for nearly 5 years.

As I have said, I have returned everything to factory. Yesterday I removed the steering wheel and replaced the combo switch, whatever it is called, and that didn’t help either.

I kind of want to replace the flasher module, but I am not convinced that is the problem simply because the flasher module should have nothing to do with the license plate indicator lights.

When I turn on the hazards, whether the truck is on or not, the license plate lights blink, the rear running lights blimp, but very very dimly and the side markers blink. I am uncertain if the side markers are supposed to blink or not.

Have you checked for any wires chewed by rodents? That's some really weird stuff going on.
