Mounts installed. Electrical tomorrow. Flex mounts sit just under the bed topper. I drilled a larger hole in the inner skin to install a nut on the bolts holding the mount. Super strong, and the swing cases still swing out.

Finished up the whip lights. I dig how they turned out. Install was pretty easy, I wired them to the chase light circuit.

TRD duals removed, tips tacked back on. Just gotta weld them up, clean them up, then high heat black protection. Then they’ll be for sale. Those damn things were just as tough to remove as install.
    Also grabbed some fluids.

Thanks Logan! I ordered a Dirty Deeds 10” exhaust. Hopefully will be here soon. I’m glad I removed this a different day than installing the new one. I’ve had time to locate all my old parts from the old exhaust to reuse with the DD.

Dirty Deeds 10” exhaust installed!! The wife ordered one and surprised me. I’ve always wanted one, to get my low end torque back and a little more rumble. Install went smoothly, everything fits perfectly. I called Keith the owner and he helped with the perfect setup.

Pulling the old chrome tip off was no damn joke. Fought every inch. While the black tailpipe doesn’t look bad, it doesn’t look good, either. Gonna peruse a new tip.
Also looks like I need to adjust the tip down. Thse leafs look pretty close.

I think if I ever pull off the TRD exhaust, I’m just going to dump it by the axle and not bother with tips

My TRD was dumped. It definitely changed the tone of the exhaust. I’m leaving this the way it is for now. I assume the tone would change as well.

Super happy with this new exhaust.
The TRD really is great. I did lose some bottom end torque when I installed it years ago. It feels like it’s back now.

A couple years ago I was offroad will a couple dudes and one truck shot up some rocks on my hood.
If the cards fall right, I’ll be picking up a hood replacement next Saturday. And you know I’m not just gonna paint it regular blue.
So I’m practicing my paint blending between colors. This is my welding hood, with metallic blue, black, gold, and Barcelona red. Cleared with 2K clear with blue metallic flake.
I really want to incorporate black in the hood, I’ve seen the wraps that go in the center of the hood, but I don’t like the hard line it creates. We’ll see what comes.

TRD duals sold!!! Gotta love a quick, easy sale and you get what you asked.
Update on the 10” Dirty Deeds. Been on the highway a couple times. One of the freeways has an extreme grade for quite a few miles. Driving uphill last night I noticed a little more drone, so I may install the resonator. Gonna have to have a couple runs up and down with the wife in the truck to see if she likes it. The resonator may have to be installed, which is fine with me. But on the road and traffic, it really sounds great. Very happy with the torque I have again.

can confirm, as I also have a 35 spare.

give it a day, you will go from really liking the exhaust to loving it. Zero drone at any speed.
