Don't laugh i just got into 3d printing for fun so i am still learning, but all i did was load your file into bambu studios and hit print.

Haha! I have never used the Bambu slicer so can't advise on that. Which Bambu did you get? They make some intriguing printers. But, yes, there is a good learning curve when it comes to 3D printing. If you want to try making some stuff yourself, try out Tinkercad online. It's free and as simple as CAD can be. Still a bit of a learning curve, however.

No, Tinkercad is a CAD design program. The slicer program is needed to take the .STL file output of that, and converts it to gcode file which is what the printer uses... unless Bambu has something else that is proprietary. I take it that Bambu Studio is the slicer that came with your printer. You can often use 3rd party slicers as long as your printer prints gcode files. But any slicer should be able to render the part accurately.

Eight months since I added heat shrink tubing to my replacement knob to reinforce the knob attachment. Still going strong.

Thank @raylo for the contribution. I'm excited to try a print of this design. My knob just broke. I got the truck used, so possibly it was already broken. I was not rough, just fell right off as i was spinning the knob. The heat shrink tubing solution is pretty nifty also.

Hey, try this repair shaft I included in those designs. Dremel off the remnants of the old shaft from inside your knob and glue this one in with some plastic cement or plastic epoxy. The stl file includes the word repair and it looks like this:

My shaft is hanging on by a thread. I think the Toyota shaft is weak (more brittle) and people are missing correct orientation when installing the knob. Its very subtle and easy to miss. I used a piece of 90mm heat shrink tube cut down to about 1/2". Slipped it over the shaft and heated for about 8-10 seconds. I probably did not need to heat it at all, since 90mm is tight. It worked great. You'll fee a nice subtle snap in place if its on right, and its snug. I have to schedule time on the 3D printer that I can get access too and will update after I can try printing the repair file. IMG_4182.jpg
