Arizona is a special place. Reading your post reminded me of the countless nights driving out into the desert in my old Tundra and laying in the truck bed and staring up into the night sky until I fell asleep.

Tucson airport is a little easier the ORD LOL, wow, so easy

whirlwind few days , but what a super nice area , not congested at all you can get around super easy and everyone we came across was very friendly, took a tour of a school as well and was impressed .

and Arizona pizza company was good , I was pleasantly surprised !! Woohoo

inspection is done, few ticky tacky things to work through but inspector was really impressed with the build quality , so that’s a plus .

onto the next steps , loved it out here

Don't be fooled by the 60-70 degree May weather! It's not normal, haha.

Ya I know , it was 87 the first day and I know the blast furnace is coming , but I’m willing to have 3-4 months of 90-100 for the rest of the year nice . We haven’t seen the sun at home in 9 months lol

Yeah, it's coming. Oh, and 90-100 is a cool Summer day. 103-110 is about normal. It can be it's own type of miserable.

But, yeah, definitely beats that super cold, sunless crap.

I watch the temps all the time , I didn’t see that much all summer of 105 or more in the specific area I’m looking , we’ll see I guess , it’s cooler than phoenix for sure .

but eitherway , like you said the weather where I’m at is just total shit from October to May and then too humid July and August , doesn’t leave much else

Definitely cooler than Phoenix, for sure. We (Tucson area) generally only go above 110 a few times a year. Vail usually is slightly cooler (3-4 degrees or so) than metro Tucson.

As long as you love the sun, you'll be just fine!

Ya love the sun, I have seasonal depression i think around here as I was born in so cal and the sun is out all the time , northern IL where I’m at hardly has any sunny days all year , it totally sucks

I can just stay inside in the ac or go in the pool when it’s the days that are stupid hot, doesn’t bother me , I don’t have to go anywhere

    Hey

Do any of you guys have a recommendation for a really good professional house cleaner?

they have a cat and my daughter is alergic , I have the HVAC cleaning handled and Stanley steamer for floors and walls , etc but need the other stuff done by a regular cleaning crew, my realtor , who’s been great , says honestly most of them aren’t good

    let me know, thanks

we are under contract, and inspection period is now and for about 7-10 more days, then if we get through that, which we will since nothing major, it’s just waiting for chase to approve this loan assumption thing, that can take 90-180 days so that’s the real waiting thing at this point i think .

so I’m going as fast as I can , want to get out there so my daughter can start 8th grade on time if at all possible.

Hopefully it's only the 90 days. Then you can move in August, which is the perfect time for strenuous activity like moving in southern AZ.

Are you assuming a loan from a relative or the seller; when it’s a dead relative it’s a huge pain in the ass.
