Camera back up not working

    I want to know if anyone might know what this is for? I bought from a used car dealer forgot to see what they would say. I have included photos here. 2015 SR5

    Looks like they may have had a topper and this was for a light within the topper...like a third brake light on top...at least, that's what I have for mine...

    I also saw this unplugged under rear of truck it looks like it goes into the tailgate! Could that be for backup camera?

    Too many, but not enough....
    Yeah. They probably had a camper and needed to have the tailgate off. Probably put gate on and forgot to plug it back in.

    My backup camera is not working, I saw this unplugged under rear under bed of truck! Is this for the camera?

    DD ss3 max led fogs. interior and exterior leds swapTRD Shift knob.
    Plug it back in. Trace the other end to see if it goes to the tailgate where the camera is located. Remove the torx screws on the tailgate access plate. See if the camera plug in still intact?

    Yes, that is the plug under the tailgate/bed for the camera.
    It looks like it was crushed, can you plug it back in?

    Yes it appears to plug in normally even though cracked!
