Anyone heard of swapping in 13w?g-h? Brakes? I think from a 4th gen 4runner? Is there any difference? Thicker rotors? Anything worth dicking with the hardlines? I dont have any issues with the wl’s, but if theres a little more meat available, it wouldnt hurt. Gonna call a couple shops about turning rotors, and get some powerstop calipers if the juice aint worth the squeeze. However, down the road, those weld74 portals use 4runner brakes…

I think that 4 runners swap in Tundra brakes as an upgrade? The GX 14s are the only upgrade that I’m aware of.

Yep, I put Tundra brakes (S13WE casting #) on my 2001 4Runner back in 2013, no modifications, straight bolt-on. Big difference.

I thought the stars and bars was the other American flag. You know the one we in the south tend to have a foundness for.

I like the blackout styling on those, goes really well with the rest of the black/chrome bits everywhere. Very nice.

Infamous red metallic paint though. How's the clearcoat on it?

Bet you're loving that over the Nissan all day long!

Talking about insurance earlier today, i’m half tempted to go to my insurance and update my shit for my liabilty value. Maybe the added value could add to the math they use to total a truck for a flat tire. Or maybe i’d just shoot myself in the foot and they’d charge more & weasel harder. I dunno. I just know if i get hit, i’m taking it personal, and probably forcing a cell phone or beer bottle or 1000 5hr energy pills through an orifice.

Donut continues to baffle me. It stopped squealing and just does it around my house. Seriously. I started it and it squealed a little so I drove it to school. After leaving my hood it stopped. Nobody showed up so I went driving around Amarillo. Nothing. Got back to my hood and it started squealing again. Same thing today. Squealed on start up then stopped when I left the hood. I'll see if it squeals in the morning here at grills house.

Anyways, it still rips pretty hard. Layed rubber into 2nd gear pretty good. I need a gopro or someone to record me for the tube.
