It's nice to be able to sand blast parts.
It's the fastest and best way to remove rust and prep for paint.
Bought a blast cabinet at Harbor Freight and after several mods it worked great!!
Being down South the hardest thing to overcome was moisture in the system.
Once I got that figured out it worked Great!!!ll
It's one of those things you dont think about until you need it.
Once you have one you dont know how you did without for so long!!

It's kinda like a Welder in that respect.
When you can make two pieces of metal stick together it opens up a whole new world of shit you can build!!!

    Like this trailer...
Modified it to hold my James Baroud pop up tent.
Oh...there's the Modded cheap Harbor Freight blast cabinet in the background.

I was sitting on a log turkey hunting. I seen this guy on a tree next to me. I thought it was a big ass mosquito. I looked it up and it’s a crane fly. It was about 2”-3” IMG_8234.jpg IMG_8235.jpg long.

    I've seen these myself.
They're too big to be a termite so I have no idea what the Hell they are.

    Nasty little critters!!!
When we used to go Dove hunting a lot we'd put flea and tick collars around our ankles outside your pant leg.
It worked reasonably well to keep em off you.

Well,,,, I was always told they eat mosquitoes. But not true I just found out!! :)
No, crane flies do not eat mosquitoes. They are often mistaken for mosquitoes due to their similar appearance, but they are actually harmless insects that do not feed on anything as adults. Their larvae, however, feed on decaying organic matter in the soil.

I was wrong and whom ever told me that was wrong also!! :). HA!!!!

In the last week, i have had 7 ticks pulled off me at different times. The one, just a few hours ago, was from today. I was Not out in the woods, but working in an average size town yard. Every tick was a deer tick, most likely nymphs. You cant barely see them.

Tractor supply has the only stuff I know that I can use without toxicity, and keeps them off me. Too bad ive been neglecting to apply it

Doxycycline is the most common treatment, 100mg, every 12 hours for 14 to 30 days, depending on the doc prescribing.

My former Chiro was bitten working in his own garden. After HIS doc said, "Ah, dont worry about it", a week went by before he realized he shouldnt have listened to his Dr. and actually worried about it.

Both hips replaced, and lost his practice because he was too week to work on his patients. Developed a rare genetic blood disorder after all the treatments subsided. Excess iron in his blood. Eventually causes death, but manageable till that day

3 years since, retired, and living somewhat normal after going through hell
