First time tundra owner 2014 SR5 4x4. beyond routine maintenance, what modifications have yall made that gave you the most success in increasing reliability and overall performance of the engine and truck in general? Thank you guys! Glad I found this forum.

I wouldn’t put too much thought into reliability. These 5.7s are known to regularly go 500k miles and above. There are a couple of 1,000k mile tundras reported too. Just stay on top of your maintenance and you’ll be fine in the reliability department.

Maybe I am misreading the question but those two goals are usually on the opposite ends of the spectrum IMO. Toyota tends to overbuild their vehicles and Tundra is not exception with a few hitting a million miles. Stock set up is pretty robust.
Long tube headers, AKA LTHs, came up in the supercharger thread but a stock truck isn't running into the same issues as a boosted truck. With that said LTHs is probably the only performance option that isn't sacrificing reliability. I've not seen evidence intakes (and filters) do anything for these trucks except at higher RPMs and WOT. All that to say I don't think Toyota left much if anything on the table for a stock NA truck.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    Agree

putting reliability and performance in same sentence is like crossing the beams in ghostbusters
