Also what kind of muffler. I had a situation where the packing on the flow through would change the sound.

I had a muffler that would go almost silent then back to normal tone. Even Keith at DD hadn't seen it it before. At least the v-band make for an almost easy inspection.of cats and muffler. Just sucks....

How much fluid did you guys have to put in for the valve body swap? I have no trans cooler and would like to add the extra quart once it starts to trickle out of the check port.

    Edit: stock pan as well

Yes, I’ll do a remote mounted one in the rear where the spare would be.

I'd have at least 6 qts maybe 8. But others who recently swapped can chime in as I've seen it vary. The pan holds 3.2qts and valve body about 2qts. From WAT.

I have to do the smog test to register by 5/15, I had all the codes fixed (except all the permanent fuel related ones that never caused a cel from killing the flex system)

I went to L.A. to get BMW motor #3 and started getting P0462 @snivilous Can HPT tune that out? Clearing it puts all my monitors to not ready.

Also, saw this on the road about 200 miles from Phoenix, then about 40 miles out it was on the side of the road, the big truck pulling the trailer with a professional vehicle transport sign on the door was broken down. :(

Oops, forgot to upload the picture.

Thanks! Any idea why that code makes 4lo flash & kills traction control? (4lo goes away with clearing, traction needs a reboot) Weird.

No idea, never heard of it. Did it just start doing it or is it a recurring thing?

Well I can probably turn it off in HPT but rather figure out what's wrong  though trying to research, these last 3 posts are 90% of what shows up on the forum for that code so absolutely zero idea what would cause it.

I have the Deaschwerks direct power deal to the fuel pump, the relay for high/low flow pinned perma on, power to the DW relay on the OEM power connector all of which has caused the permanent fuel system code since I started with the SC, over 2 years ago. It never caused a CEL before.

The only code I got from using the fuel module to power my walbro 450 is p0230 for the relay.
You'll like this...is your fuel level sensor wire shorted? Could be on top of tank at plug to module or inside on the canister.

The last time the tank was out was 9/23 on the way to L.A. I lost the hose & it died. It was fixed by a shop, the fuel gauge works properly.

I have never had an AIP issue, wouldn't there be AIP codes?

Also, anyone want a forged pencil holder?

Offhand anyone know the size of the barbed fitting or the size of the reference hose going to the intake? I have 16mm / 5/8ths noted not sure that is correct.

Anyone have any reference to mounting a powerdyne bd-11a to a 2uz? Like a belt length, or pulleys? Supposedly someone can tune ‘03 trucks. Anywho, i’ll have more info once i get to put hands on it. Do the extra injectors piggyback off another injectors signal, or do they mist full time? Never thought i’d be part of a 2-bolt main blower project; but here we are.

I was just thinking of issues that throw just the 4lo. MaF? If it were t case or others it would throw more of a light show.

It's definately weird, seems like any code that it gets messes with 4lo (which I have only used a few times a year to engage the motor & make sure it is ok) CLearing the code makes that light go off but traction stays off until reboot.

I have had this since 2006, fastest, easiest way to see the readiness.

That's been my experience with VSC too. Whenever I've had a CEL and any other flashing dash lights that include VSC, I can clear all the others (usually while the engine is still running), but to get the VSC to stop/reset, I've always had to restart the engine. Just grasping at straws, but with VSC probably utilizes the ABS system in it's functionality, the ABS might need to be rebooted so that it can recalibrate, which is what we can sometimes hear it do after first starting out driving and hit that ~12mph threshold which in normally masked by the automatic door locks.

Cant remember the acronym but it was skid control. Might have been VSC.
It was in my FJ if I remember correctly.
First time it activated it tripped me Out!!!
Hit some deep water on the highway doing around 70 and started going into a skid and the brake pedal started stuttering incredibly fast as it hit the brakes on different wheels to correct the skid it was almost a vibration.
    It stopped the skid immediately!!!
    Crazy Tech!!!
