I made a complete video on how to install these aftermarket ebay/Amazon hood scoops. I show you what mounting hardware you need to buy to have a successful installation. The china hardware that comes with these is completely inadequate. You can purchase and have it painted locally and then follow my video or you can purchase one from me painted and 2K cleared and ready for installation. Wow, you really did an amazing job with this. It looks perfect and you made the install look easy. A possibly overwhelming project totally seems doable now.

 

Thank you. I really appreciate that. My goal was to be the ginney pig and figure out all the missing pieces. I'll have a part 2 posted soon recommending you use a foam board for science projects instead of poster board because its more rigid. Much better template material to use.

 

Nice video. I used those exact slide bolts from Lexus I worked on a while back. Painted the hood scoop myself. Had it on for a few years now. I got mine from eBay and I found a small stress crack on the left front curb area.
