1st gen header question

Hey all, I’m just curious what the go to option is for long tube headers on an 04 tundra. And potentially exhaust systems?

Dirty deeds. Not much of another option, unless you wanna cobble up some 180* headers.

 

Doug Thorely stopped producing headers for the 1st gen 4.7 Tundra a couple years ago but I guess there may be some old stock still floating around out there. It's more of mid-length tube design.

Just be aware of the side effects. Even if you use O2 sims, you're going to forever be popping codes, will eat more gas, and probably deal with running-rich conditions, which has its own series of negative size effects.

There's a bazillion threads on the topic. Here's the most recent two, I think? They pop up once every 6-8 weeks because people can't be bothered to use the 'Search' box.
