I read through https://www.tundras.com/threads/front-cv-axle-recommendations.110714/ which had great info. Buying a remann axel for only around $150ish or less straight from toyota seems insane now. I tried looking up the part # on autoparts.toyota and a couple dealership sites (p # 43430-0C010-84) but it's discontinued or doesn't show up at all. Only the new assembly which is 43430-0C010 and at least $350 or more. I know there's the CVJ option which uses oem axels but was hoping to try and find a local option for remmaned oem or decent newer that isn't too expensive (I know that's almost always a daily question here)

That's correct, reman is NLA. You can sometimes get the new axles for under $300 during sales. I got the pricing down to $547/pair after tax from a local dealer during one of the recent sales, but I have one reman spare already tucked away in the shop, and I've moved to a pretty strict, "Don't buy it if I don't need it" model over the last 6-8 months when it comes to truck stuff.

So I just talked to a local shop that is in contact with a local Toyota dealer literally just a minute ago. The dealer quoted $570 for OEM each, and $115 for reman OEM--HOWEVER, they also said no one currently has either in stock (I think i did see some new in stock for around 350ish though, just can't remember which dealer) and they are on backorder with NO ETA AT ALL or even a ballpark of when they can get them out. But, they are at least accepting prepaid orders which indicates to me they do plan on having them available still at some point. As crazy at that sounds in paying for something with no clue if/when I'll get them--I'm still going to order some remann for that price point.
