OK I have 2025 SR5 and I have Android Auto bluetooth and it makes the google map go on the touchscreen instead of my phone but it disconnects a lot but then comes back but it's annoying and distracting at night because it flashes that white screen is there something I should check or do? I updated the app on my phone I never used it before and checked on the touchscreen I think that is up to date. I don't think it is my bluetooth it connected to my tacoma fine and big truck ok for 12 hour straight never disconnects. It might be my shitty phone not able to handle android auto (Samsung A14) I spent like 15 mins trying to get wireless charging to work then I found out it doesn't have wireless charging on the phone.

    Too many, but not enough....
Yeah my 2.5 does that too. But my wife's 2024 corolla works perfectly. Weird.

Mine only does it intermittently but on some days it happens too much. I shut the radio off and on and it helps a little. I think AA is pretty finicky. Doesn't seem to happen much on my golf cart though.........

Many have experienced the same, including myself in very specific areas.

Have you tried using the dedicated USB port instead of Bluetooth?

I didn't know there was a connecting port I thought it was just to charge stuff and I had it plugged in the center console USB C to charge.
I wouldn't mind using the cable, I am older and prefer that.

The USB port up by the head unit is the dedicated. The ones in the console are charging only.

Used the usb port and it didn't disconnect once today guess that was the problem.

When you're experiencing the problem are you near an airport by chance? Reason I ask, the place where it happens to me every time is right by DFW airport.

Following. This happens with my phone on my wife's 2024 4 Runner. The 4 Runner doesn't have wireless Android Auto. I have changed the cord, and that did not help. It only happens with my phone, not her's. I have no issues with the same phone in my Tundra.

Both my 21 SR5 and 24 Civic have this problem and it's the cables in my case. Sometimes touching or moving the cable causes it to drop connection. Higher quality cables fixed it.
