Siziom tow mirrors

I picked up a really cheap set of brand new Siziom tow mirrors on MacBid at a ridiculously low price. Figured I’d give em a try and if they were garbage no big deal. They’re actually pretty decent and plug and play for the most part. The only issue is each mirror came with a long grey and white wire. I assumed it was similar to the boost auto mirrors, white was reverse and grey(blue for boost) was for running lights. I T tap’d the reverse wire on the driver side kick panel. Hooked in the white wires and no dice. Switched out for the grey to see and no luck there either. Anyone use these or similar lights before? Am I missing something?

 

Could it be the grey wires are a ground?

I did look in this post but didn’t see anything that quite fit since the conversation was more so surrounding connecting it to the cardio light. I’ll double check though.

 

Grey was ground! Decided I’d just give it a shot and hooked up the grey wires to a ground source and the reverse lights worked. At least this is here if anyone else runs into this problem down the road.
