    I am new at this....
    Question. I bought a 2025 Tundra 1794 ..... Non hybird..
I am experiencing hesitation and jerking when first started mostly... while cold engine and speed 0f 25-30 mph (live in HOA) ---- I live in S FLorida.... so temp is always 70+...
No error codes... Not sure if this is going to get worse .... looking at the history of this power train?
    Any ideas would be helpful....

Took to dealer - no solutions - said they could not reproduce... However, it happens all the time....

What is your temp gauge at when it's happening? If it's under a quarter full the engine isn't up to temp yet. Does the same to me even when it's warm outside. Once the temp gets closer to half (normal running temp) it goes away. The reason the dealer can't replicate might be because they don't have it overnight to fully cool engine before trying.

Thanks for the reply - I never had a vehicle do this before.... Not to happy with this ...... It's sad they changed so much so fast on this engine....Engine quality has gone way down for them........ I see the future for me is to trade it in soon...

My 2017 tundra did the same thing, same as my 2000 4runner. I feel like it's to protect the engine and keep your speed low until it warms up. It is more noticeable on the 2023 but I usually start the truck about 5 minutes before I'm ready to go in the morning and its fully warmed up by then.
