My 07 Tundra 5.7L has started flashing the VSC and 4LO and seems to be in limp mode, very low power and losing speed when climbing big hills, also potentially unrelated but since the issue I’ve had no reverse lights. Had it in a shop and they said vacuum leak, replaced intake gasket and ran fine for about half a day and then it all came back. They said it has a code for the cat emissions. Everything I’m reading points towards the SAIS so I’m looking into a bypass. Just curious what you guys make of the situation, and if a bypass is the move which one would you recommend?

Just ordered one so hopefully that’ll fix the issue. I took it to a friend earlier and had them read the codes and the only one it was throwing was P2440. Should’ve taken it to him before dropping it at a shop(I prefer to do my own work), but it started happening about 70 miles from home and I live in the ozarks so I was really afraid it would just completely stall out on me in the hills with no cell service before I could get it to the house.
