Nice! I could have bought 3 by now. The one I last saw I should have bought and sold the one I have like you have done. Where are you located? I’m struggling to find a canopy for a RCSB used. Quoted $4800 + 12% taxes this week. Too much.

    Fellow RCSB enthusiasts,
I own an ‘07 RCSB 4.7l 4x4. For this specific platform has anybody purchased or fabricated and installed successfully a long range fueltank for extended on and off road travel? Curious to hear your feedback. I’ve recentlyemailed Longe Range America and Transfer Flow about this and waiting for replies. Just thought I’d reach out to this group.
    TIA

    Hey all,

I’ve owned two Regular Cab Toyotas but that was in my 20’s. One was an ‘81 pickup 2WD, and the other was a 2010 Tacoma 4x4. They had a similar wheelbase to the Tundra RCSB - about 16inches shorter. I don’t remember them being too squirrely on the highway, but my current Wrangler JLU with a 118in wheelbase definitely wanders a bit more - could be due to solid front axle and not IFS. Over bumps I know a shorter wheelbase can make the truck bounce a bit more.

Anyone put a lot of highway miles on their RCSB in between trails? I can’t decide if I want the RCSB design again…it will be more of a “get me too the destination” truck camping/recreating (skiing/mountain biking) vehicle and less something I purposely drive on dedicated trails just to drive the trails, so I’m thinking that the Double Cab short bed might be the better vehicle if there are longer highway miles and less dedicated trails miles. The RCSB would be easier to park in town though, which is often a consideration.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Cheers!

Hey guys! Just got this one. 2012 (Originally Barcelona Red) Phantom Gray 5.7L with Flex Fuel & 4x4, only had 76K miles. Has the middle seat that converts to arm rest.

Back to stock Wheels. Got some BFG KO3’s to put on them. Going for OEM+ look. Would like some TRD OR wheels from the 14 to 21. We will see what pops up.

Day late! I’m getting the one I have rubbing paint on the cab. Will probably grind fibreglass
out of sight and make it work. Paint job in all likelyhood.

So I’ve had my truck for 1 yr now. Been sitting on SOS lowering kit and SOS airbag kit since last
fall. Finally got around to it. Lowered the tailgate 5-7”. It’s great! Handles corners so much better,
no more back end swinging around. Both front and rear wheel well openings are 38” and the bed rail
is perfectly level using my 4’ level. Running 10 lbs of air right now. Yesterday I removed the canopy.
Looks slick, I’m running down to get the diffs for the 60 done and will stop somewhere and get a pic
without the cap. Gotta get the ugly dent fixed next

It’s finally the best I can do right now is just cut the exhaust where I did. It’s gonna be a real octopus to come over the spring and then down under the fender for the exit. And I put the springs one more inch up and now it just looks sick. It’s absolutely perfect the way I wanted it to look. Handles crazy good. Will load #1800 mulch this week so how the bags do. SOS kits are easy to do. Super good quality. Highly recommend.
