Ole Alex has not aged well. I guess maybe being Russian and the game of hockey????
has put the grey on Alex. He looked much older than 39 or 40 last night!!!

Ovechkin broke Wayne Gretzky's record by scoring his 895th career goal in the Washington Capitals' game Sunday against the New York Islanders, beating fellow Russian Ilya Sorokin on a power play with 12:34 left in the second period

Good for him,,, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Stanley Cup coming up shortly too.

 

I watched it. I think he's ageing well. Gray yeah, but still playing well, having fun and cracking some beers after the game.

It was a pretty cool on ice ceremony, and it was a classic one timer for the record.

I also liked how he didn't want an empty netter for the record.

Mapleleafs might knock the Senators out of the first round, then on to the 2nd round??
