    Has new engine...warranted
Thank you for the welcome. :oldglory:
I recently bought a 2022 Tundra. I really like the truck and was unsure of the gas tank size, since Toyota was unclear about that piece of information. When I finally empied the tank I was able to put 28 gallons of fuel in it to my shock , I might add, I now know that I have a 32 gallon tank. Is this a Question mark in other minds?
Toyota deemed it necessary to recall the engine also, sooo I am having the replacement taken care of as well. It is now at the dealer for a new engine.

Here is a tidbit, just in case you have others who need a major part/portion of their cars recalled by the manufacturer.
The Service tech at Toyota told me, Since it is considered a safety recall itiem, I can run this engine untill it is many years old, mileage is unimportant and then when the engine begins to give trouble then take it in and claim the recall replacement and still keep the original body....That's called "Two for the price of one".

That was my plan as well, then while towing a trailer 750 miles from my house the engine failed climbing a mounting stranding me on the side of the road in the middle of the night. Two of the people with me said that might have been the worst night of their life.

Unloading an entire truck full of gear in the pouring rain in the middle of the night in the freezing cold, waiting 4 hours for a teammate to arrive with a Ram truck to pick us up.

That's the worst part, you'll never live it down. Damn Italian truck having to rescue a Toyota.
