Howdy y’all. I’m probably overreacting, but is it normal to have a tiny bit of grease/residue coming out of the bottom of the lower ball joint? I couldn’t find any scores in the boot, and I’ll check later if there’s any play. Here’s a pic. Honestly could just be road debris/brake dust, but I’d rather know if it’s bad now and get replacements before I go out to Moab in two weeks. For reference, I have 60k miles so I think it’d be premature for the LBJ to go out.

Update: just a little bit of grease leaking out of the bottom. No play in the LBJ yet!
