Remington Gamemaster 760 - I have that same one. Great freaking gun. Very accurate for a pump (from what I've read) bc of the way the bolt twists & interlocks with the chamber. If you close it slowly, you can see right before it fully locks how the bolt twists and interlocks with the chamber.

Yup, that’s what it is. With the 180 grain bullet , It puts a heck of exit hole on deer.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Been a while since I've logged on the forum here...busy with life. I was able to get a fair bit of hunting in this last year, which was great.
Amongst a few does, I was able to harvest a couple good bucks.
The first one was a Sept. bow kill from the back yard...from a blind in the edge of the woods, not 50 yds from the house! The second was a Dec. rifle from my hunting lease...chased him for over two months. With both of these bucks, I had two encounters before closing the deal on the third encounter, and months of photos.

While on an evening deer hunt, I witnessed a bold 'yote stalk and chase a large doe. I could not allow that...

And last weekend connected on a good thunder-chicken.

Haha, my buddy did kill one with a bow yesterday as well and will say his was way easier than mine. We setup yesterday morning near where a tom was roosted and he flew down and strutted in with one yelp from us. Mine we chased him, got setup and him coming, then had to run off some trespassers on a four wheeler than drove into our setup and spooked them. We circled around up and over a ridge to cut them off and were able to call him back in. On a side note, the kids on the four wheeler probably about passed out when a couple guys in camo with shotgun came out of the trees at them.

A hen I got a few years ago in the fall with my 58 cal (24 ga) smooth bore flintlock using a mix of 6 and 5 shot. I got lucky on this one because I forgot to take the leather frisson cover off. Which meant no spark. I slowly took it off and tried again. Kaboom! Dropped her on the spot. Funny thing was after I got the turkey, a squirrel got fired up. I reloaded and got him too. All this at day break. This year I’m taking my bow.
