..specifically the hitch mounted Quik Rack?

If so, does the anti-wobble adjustable ball hold the hitch tightly in our truck’s receiver?
Toyota hitches are slightly larger than the competitors, and I’m curious if the rack still fits snuggly.

Any input or photos would be great.

    thank you in advance.

so I have that on my current rack, but if I’m spend the money on this rack, I want to make sure it works perfectly on its own. If that makes sense.

The built in 1up hitch tightener with the alen key always worked well on my truck!

Yes, the ball tighten system with the Allen key works great, no complaints on stability at all. Such a solid and easy system in all aluminum, love it.

I have the 1up 2 bike super duty rack and it tightens up perfectly. No movement whatsoever.

I do like that one, but it is overkill for my application.

just to be sure, this is used in conjunction with the 1 1/4 - 2” adapter?

Yes, good guess, lol. I bought it used for $150, couldn't pass that up as these are expensive new. If new I’d go with the 2”. It’s the single bike version. My Stumpy EVO weighs about 32-33 lbs, so not too much weight on there.

It is in most of my uses overkill for what I do, with the exception of when I ride with my dad. Then I have two ebikes on the rack.

I would only go with two trays most likely. I’m not worried about the rating, but more curious if it fit well since as I stated in first post the hitch openings are slightly larger.

Yes, it fits ok. When you crank down the Allen key hard, it does not move in the hitch at all. There is slight play in rest of system, and maybe some from the 1 1/4 I have. But nothing to worry about. I got the one as I meet people to ride and just bring my bike. Honestly, I rarely use it and just lay bike in back of truck bed. Only a bar end, one pedal, and the tires touch, (all wear items anyways) and the gate closes. I have a tailgate pad if needing to bring more than one.

I think its the "heavy duty". When I bought it like 5 years ago, they didnt have so many models. It was a single and I added 2 trays to it.

In the pic I have it on a hitch riser I realized. But Ive run it on the truck's hitch and like others have said, no problems

Appreciate all of the input. I’m about 85% sure this is the rack I’m going with.

I’ve always considered a retrax with crossbars and carriers. But I know when I’ll need to use the full bed I’ll be hours from home and unable to store the crossbars and carriers somewhere.

Also run a heavy duty 1up on my tundra. No issues at all. Even with my 59# ebike or my 75# fully loaded bikepacking rig.

Forward looking camera, Stub Antenna, 3M clearshield. A few other non lifted items.
I use the 1 up on my Tundra and Forester Wilderness, 2 inch connection. Very stable with EMB. My Kuat model I had was not rated for the weight of the EMB and decided to up grade. My son has the same model so I got his opinion also before I bought.

I’ve been pricing out adding crossbars to a retractable tonneau cover, and all the parts add up fast.

Think I’ll be pulling the 1up trigger soon.

You might also consider quickrstuff. OG owner of 1up sold started a new company and has made some cool improvements over the 1up. I was using a kuat and it couldn't handle my heavier bikes. I was going to buy a quickrstuff, but found the 1up at a used gear store for a steal.
