OK, so I know our Toyota’s already don’t like Apple CarPlay. Typically It doesn’t mute when listening to messages and you physically have to turn it off. But now with the last Apple update, it doesn’t even mute the music that I’m playing through my phone when using navigation. It’s a garbled mess so anybody else having this problem?

I just reach over and hit the mute button. Last update didn't resolve it.

The volumn knob. Just push it in…lightly.

    What’s wrong with stock?
This issue started about 2 1/2 years ago. They used to mute, after an update it stopped. Not sure if it was Apple, or Toy-yo-yo. There are some old threads on this and no one has an automatic solution. Everyone seems to agree that you either have to turn down the head unit or turn it off.

I appreciate your input but I know about the other thread. The older thread was mostly about when listening to messages. What I’m talking about is a new issue where it doesn’t even mute when using CarPlay navigation and listening to music. Mine used to mute the music when giving the directions.
