Went to my Toyota dealer on Friday for 1st service . Asked them to shut off the enhanced engine sound. They said OK but would cost $195.00. Tech said you can do it yourself instead of paying. I passed on it, but called two other local dealers. They both said it would cost about $210. One service guy said dealers in our area are now charging for this service because many are asking to have the sound shut off. I read if you can find the module that is used for this, just unplug. Most are usually located in the engine compartment. Yet some may be located in the cab. Don't know where the 3rd gen Tundras would be located, in case someone knows. John I would take you up on your offer if I wasn't clear across the nation.
