I debadged my ‘18 over the weekend. I did not use heat as I was scared to damage the paint; fishing line, then 3M wheel, then some rubbing compound for anything remaining. All except one came off easily. No difference in color from fading. Here’s an example of the process on the passenger side Tundra badge:

Not sure if age, the strength of the adhesive, or moisture accumulation behind the badge came into play, but when I started sawing the passenger iForce badge, water started dripping down the side of the truck, and when the badge came off, there was a bubble and chip in the paint.:angrygirl:Luckily no rust, just primer. I cut the bubble out and sanded around the edges, and will need to paint these spots this weekend.

Overall I’m happy with it, and I was really surprised how much I liked the tailgate without the aftermarket Tundra letters. Took about 4 hours, probably because I didn’t use heat, and I was slower than a snail.:rofl:I’ll post more pics once I wash this pig. :(

Cant believe how shitty the shark fin antenna is. Trying to listen to some classic rock terrestrial radio stations is impossible. What I can pull in with my 08 Tundra is impossible with the 21.

Guess I better learn me how to stream using Android Auto.

I drove a new one before I picked up the 2016 I bought about a month ago. I would keep what you have - I have no regrets about the decision to go with a 2016 over a new one.

I ordered the "beefy" green clips to hold my hood facia down. It's funny how we get excited over little things like that.

Makes it equal length to the driver side which changes the tone.

Performance wise, does it provide anything additional to the Dirty Deeds exhaust system?

I exclusively listen to radio in a rural area and its tough as hell. I approached a handful of shops to try to find a solution and work around it with a new antenna but no one wanted to do it. I'm sure its possible, but I don't get electrical and am scared of messing something up with the way everything is connected these days.

So far I am happy with them, they are punchy as in they play metal and hard rock drums really good, they do play deep bass as well but up to a certain volume and at a point they do tend to struggle with the low lows but only if you really listen for it. But for how shallow they are I would say they are a solid option for the tundra. If I did my math right I should be running roughly 400 watts rms to each sub give or take. I am NOT a professional installer or programmer so I may be off on that a bit but I do know that I am happy with them. All that being said, rock and metal with the kick drum they sing, rap bass they are good but keep in mind this much of a shallow more than likely will not put out what a full depth 12 will just because of the physics of things.

My data is outrunning both a modded trx and raptor R from a roll multiple times and weighing over 600lbs more than them called physics. Also, having much more boost than the whipple stock kit has, more mods etc... Not hard to understand...

Color matched sideview mirror covers (now just trying to find a way to do the handles without spending $700)
Rago dash mount, getting ready to mount ultragauge on it.
Now I just need to ditch these 20" wheels! Getting ready to pull the trigger on the SCS F5 just can't decide between black or the matte bronze.

    As I bought it
