wiring problem

hey ya"ll, my problem is i replaced my motor and trans mission on my 2006 sequoia limited ; and installed the transfer case ( luckily before installing it into the vehicle), but the wiring harness going back to the transfer case only has an 8 wire plug and my case takes a 12 wire plug...HELP!!!

 

Give me a little more info... you swapped out your original engine and transmission, and when you went to reinstall your tcase the wiring connector was wrong? Or you got a transmission with a tcase already installed and its the wrong connection? Who'd you get the engine and trans from?

 

some online site,,,supposed to have just 76000 mi;;;and i admit it does look good,but even the ecm wiring plug is different...think i got no choice but to use thr original harness ;which is very complicated and time consuming.

 

still not answering my question, did the new tranny come with the tcase?

did you give the online site your vin and have them confirm the fit?

If the tranny came with the tcase, just swap your old tcase onto it
