Is the form insert already cut out for it?
I'm thinking to get a Pilcian style box to store some of the tools I have.

The Apache boxes from Harbor Freight are built pretty good. I have a few of the smaller 3800 Apache cases as well as a few larger Pelican cases, for the price the Apache is hard to beat. I've bought all my Apache cases on sale for around $20-25 each.

For the foam you can buy sheets of Kaizen foam and cut them to fit your case or you can buy them pre-cut to fit so all you have to do is cut the opening for things you want to store. Kaizen Source sells different configurations for several case manufacturers.

It is just that this group has been a super bad influence and I have somehow acquired three impact driver with the fourth pending, couple of other tools.
I kinda want a box to keep everything together, easier to store and easier to throw on the truck at a moment notice to do something.
Foam is optional, but banging up box might be another issue....lol

The four flat sides on the sockets to make them anti roll and able to crank on them with a wrench too is going to be nice to have, seems like every time I go to switch sizes of sockets while working under my truck it has somehow rolled 10 feet away.

I've been buying the magnetic trays at Harbor Freight. Useful to keep things from rolling

This is what I paid but then in the reviews I saw the impact socket set listed by someone at $49.95 probably a Black Friday sale or something. The standard socket set alone is $190 and the impact set is $155, together as a set you save about $40.

Awesome! Thank you. That 4 flat side is very interesting, no-roll policy enforced. Of course, not cheap by any means....

@T-Rex266 I swear you posted this before, but I thought the 4 flat side sockets also comes in black instead of chrome?
Or did I dream that up?

I was thinking about holding out until Memorial Day weekend to see if some sales pop up but I need a new set for a road trip and while doing a transmission fluid drain and fill last week I found a bunch of crusty pink sh*% on top my skid plate which was traced back to a leaking water pump…

That's not good. I meant to do my transmission drain and fill but weather/schedule got in the way so it was pushed back to 55K when I do the oil change, cause I need a flat driveway and a helping hand, since I have to drop plates to get that done.....lol

I spent about 3 hours trying to get my RCI skids off by myself which turned it into a 2 day project, the RCI cat-guards really make it impossible to access the 2 middle crossmember bolts that I somehow found a way to use the 3/8 carriage bolts with nuts and washer instead of the hex bolts and retrofit plate that makes it “easy”.

I mean, the first and foremost main reason for cat skit/guard plate is to protect and avoid theft, but it doesn't make it difficult for us, too.....lol
