Installed a Leer 100 XL today. Leer sent with the wrong cab side window (I ordered a fold down and it had a non-folding slider). Luckily the dealer had another in stock window and swapped it. Leer also built the brake light harness wrong. Basic qc issue since moving to MX.

That said, love the look and the color match is excellent. Had a metallic gray 13 Tundra with 100XR, and the color match on the old one was decent but not nearly as good.

I joined this forum just to say thank you to everyone who posted all your pictures and different styles of caps - I tend to lurk around online forums after googling something and this one seems to be of high quality content :)

I picked up a Leer 100XR - I know I paid too much, but inflation.. Roof tracks, carpet liner, dual LED lights on a prop switch. The bright side: The wait time was 12 days. When the LEER dealer called me I thought they must've made a mistake and called the wrong guy.. Ordered on a Saturday and it was delivered the following Wednesday.. In central NC if you're curious about location. My guess is they have the cap already poured and just painted and mounted windows.

Leer 100XR Windoors, Headliner, keyless, and roof tracks (no rack, DIY it). I added rago bed stiffeners, the bed latches easier, and I have more tie down points. I've had it since Feb 2023. Only leak was third brake light but I siliconed around it and now no leaks. I did get an early prototype of GG offroad's camera relocation kit and it is convenient. Gets in my way a little when I sleep in the bed on top of the decked drawers.

How did you like your Fas-top Solo? I’m curious about a soft top and don’t need windows. Some of the more popular brands out there have windows, and I haven’t seen much discussion about the Fas-top.

Do you still have the link for this topper, I browsed Alibaba. I saw similar items that you have, but wasn't sure.

I wrote to Alu-Cab about possibility of releasing a 6.5’ bed model. Was thrilled to hear back right away with this update and pics. Already impressed with the direct contact and quality of customer service. Hope to connect w/ 3rd gen AluCab owners to learn more re your experience.

“Thanks for reaching out, we appreciate your interest in Alu-Cab products. We have finalized designs for these canopies and are awaiting production lead time information. I've included a photo of the final prototype unit here which will match production versions. Would you like to receive an update via email when these are available for pre-order?

Leer 100XR on a '25 Limited with Digital Rear View Mirror. I am running the GG.Offroad camera relocation kit. Easy to pull cameras and quality kit to retain Digital Rear View Mirror and Bed Views.

hey thanks for the info and pics.
I spoke to Ok4wd and they told me
“Hello , Alu-Cab is finalizing the fitment on the 6.5 Bed Tundra. We hope to have part numbers shortly. When we have part numbers it will be added to our website for pre-orders. We will be looking around May to have them in the U.S.”

Been waiting for this for quite a while. I also asked about the price point and got no answer.

@AND glad the post/pics re 6.5’ Alu-Cab were helpful. I’m interested in learning more re: comparisons between RSI Smartcap and Alu-Cab, GFC, RLD, OVS Expedition etc.

I joined the smart cap group on Facebook and there’s more bad than good reviews.
I’m torn between the Alucab and the GFC go fast campers Topper.

I like that they filled the gap instead of being flat with the Contour Canopy. That's the first I've seen like that.

Have you seen all the AliBaba smart cap clones these guys are getting. Seem to be holding up great and at 30% the cost of a SmartCap.

I’ve seen them but I i always end up spending more for trying to save a penny up front.
Have you seen one in person? Theres a company on Instagram/facebook called owlcampers or owlcanopies something like that.

Here is the @GG.Offroad digital rear view camera relocation kit. This removed 2 cameras from the factory 3rd brake light and relocates them. Great product and top notch customer service!

Bed view camera mounted at front window of shell looking back.
